How I Propose Tweeters Uncover Black Hat Direct Message Hackers

Here is what I think is happening; the tweeters who are getting their direct messages hacked into have used a Twitter tool, probably a free one, that without their knowledge purposely kept track of their username and password at Twitter. Once they have that, without your knowledge they can access your direct message feature and send direct messages without your knowledge.
You can change your password but, as soon as you use the Twitter tool these Twitter spammers have your information again and you are back where you started.
My purpose in this blog post is to provide a place that Twitter users who have had their direct message feature hacked can record what Twitter tools they use as comments to this post. It is my hope that with a big enough sample a pattern will emerge and we will soon know which Twitter tools to avoid. If you have been subject of your direct messages being hacked please leave your comment to this post respecting what Twitter tools you use.
